A USA-based security company aimed to create a system to ensure safety around swimming pools by monitoring the behavior of adults and children near the pool or in the water. The area was monitored by two cameras positioned at complementary angles to provide a comprehensive view.

Objectives

Conduct extensive research on potential approaches to the client’s problem, focusing on poolside behavior monitoring and scene reconstruction.

Results

Completed research covering:
- Reconstruction of multiple scenes using automated scripts, mesh, and precision calculation.
- Localization of individuals on elevation.
- Implemented a voxel grid for mesh reconstruction.
- Loaded point cloud reconstruction from COLMAP to MCAP for use with FoxGlove.

This research is setting the foundation for developing advanced AI safety solutions that ensure poolside safety while being scalable and adaptable using cloud technologies.
